Not advice

Educational, not medical, legal or billing advice. BillUnravel is not affiliated with any hospital, health system, provider, insurer, or government agency. The bill checker, letter templates, and checklist are general information you run yourself. You are responsible for what you send and for checking that it's accurate. For advice about your situation, talk to the billing office, your insurer, or a qualified professional.

No promise of results

We can't promise that a bill contains an error, that a provider or insurer will change anything, or that you'll save money. The checker lists questions to ask. Many bills are correct.

Letters

You review, edit, and send every letter yourself. BillUnravel does not send it. If you open your email app, that app is yours, and you choose whether to send the message.

Free tools

The bill checker, letter maker, and checklist are free. They are provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using them. Any paid features will have their own clear pricing before you buy.

What stays on your device

The letter maker and EOB checklist do not use browser storage. In the bill checker, "Keep my work on this device" is off until you turn it on. If you turn it on, this browser stores that work under names that start with bu:. Delete everything removes it immediately. We do not receive that copy. See Privacy.
